Who we are...

Cellar Salt Co. is based in Lafayette, LA, a great city whose spirit allows makers and creators to truly innovate and flourish.  The company was founded by Jeremy Conner, a chef with 20 years experience in the service industry and Alexis Young, head of merchandising at Kiki, an upscale boutique with stores in Lafayette and Baton Rouge.  The company's mission is to craft a premium sea salt of distinct flavor and quality while exemplifying the bounty of the source, the magical Gulf of Mexico.

The primary product is a pure flake finishing salt handcrafted from Gulf water, but the company also crafts small batches of flavored salts and limited edition salts from micro-habitats with their own merroir such as specific oyster beds.  In any Cellar Salt offering, the goal is to craft a product not only of fine quality, but that also represents the distinctive flavor of the Gulf Coast.  The salts make superb finishing touches to all foods and are great in any instance salt would be added to a dish at the table.
